I began writing  years ago, and have not stopped despite the countless rejections from the numerous agents to whom I've reached out.    As a Scorpio, of course, I will not be deterred.     Persistence is everything in any endeavor.

I am a civil engineer by education and have been a member of the United States Army Corps of Engineers by profession for the past fifteen years.     

I have been married to my lovely bride, Barbara,  for thirty-plus years and am looking forward to another thirty.  We make our home on California's central coast in close proximity to our seven beautiful grandchildren but, unfortunately, a fair distance from our three fabulous great-grandchildren.  

Some of my favorite people are pictured below.  And, yes, I did own that car.  In fact, I bought it off the showroom floor.
